Rooted in our shared connection to Liberia, we bring alumni, donors, volunteers, and community partners together to expand educational opportunities and support meaningful community initiatives.

Yes. Progressive Monkeys is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, and donations are generally tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by law.

More than 80% of the funds Progressive Monkeys has collected to date have gone directly toward our causes and charitable initiatives.
We are proud to operate with very low overhead. Much of the work behind Progressive Monkeys—from organizational development to building and maintaining our online presence—has been contributed through volunteer time and service. This allows us to keep administrative expenses minimal and direct the overwhelming majority of our resources toward the people and communities we exist to serve.
Projects are reviewed and approved by members based on community need, impact potential, and alignment with our mission.
